Congratulations on staying up last season, and good luck for the season to come… I hate the summer!!
That aside though m, I’m a celebrant and taking a service for a big Everton supporter tomorrow, everything is in place, but I just thought I might come on here and ask a question.
As a Stoke supporter, I’m always very proud to take a service for a fellow fan, and knowing what I know, I like to say, as the final words ‘we’ll be with you’ which is a reference to a famous song (in stoke) recorded by the 72 squad that won the league cup.
Because the gentleman is an Everton fan, I just wondered if there was a phrase that, even if it was only something that he would have understood, I could use towards the end of the service.
Any ideas would be really helpful, just to the end of making it as absolutely special as we can.
